computersWTF ("cWTF") WORK AUTHORIZATION

1. Labor Rates; Billing Practices; Payment.
   
   $120 per hour residential base fee | $150 per hour commercial base fee
   
   Please see the RATES page of our website for the most current published labor rates, surcharges, and fees. There is a one-hour minimum charge for all on-site services. If the service requires more than one hour of labor, labor will be billed in quarter-hour increments at the applicable rate. *An additional hourly fee applies for appointments starting after 6pm ("off-hours"), on weekends, or on holidays, as well may be applied for rush-jobs or same-day service & service crews comprised of more than one technician. For remote desktop support, you will be billed at the applicable rate in quarter-hour increments, and there will be a half-hour minimum charge. For larger-scale projects with quotes/estimates provided: 50% of the labor estimate and 100% of the equipment charges will be due prior to the start of work, and any remaining balance will be due upon job completion or sign-off. You will receive a bill for services rendered. Bills are due upon receipt unless indicated by a due date on the invoice and may be paid in cash, personal check, most major credit cards, and via PayPal/Square. If any payment is not received within 5 business days from receipt of invoice or otherwise indicated due date on invoice, the outstanding balance will accrue a finance charge in the amount of 10% per annum accruing daily, or the maximum rate permitted by law. Any outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to the start of any new work. Returned or canceled checks will incur a fee of $40.
2. Confidentiality. Confidential, proprietary, personal, and/or financial data (including but not limited to credit card or account numbers, billing addresses, login IDs, and passwords) will be kept in the strictest confidence by cWTF and under no circumstances will cWTF share any such information with anyone other than cWTF personnel or contractors.
3. Appointments. If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance will incur a cancelation fee equal to a half-hour charge at the applicable rate. Cancellations must be made by phone, not by email or text message. Any appointment that is canceled without any notice to cWTF will incur a full one-hour charge at the applicable rate.
4. Travel. Charges for travel time and expenses may be billed for service calls to locations greater than 15 miles from the Hollywood area, calculated at half of the prevailing hourly rate.
5. Equipment. If a service requires the installation of any equipment, we will discuss such equipment needs with you, including any sourcing charges, prior to purchasing any equipment. You must pay us for any required equipment prior to commencement of work. cWTF makes no express or implied warranties beyond those offered by the equipment manufacturer or wholesaler.
6. Warranty. cWTF warrants that the services provided will be of commercially reasonable quality in accordance with any specifications set forth in the Statement of Work provided upon estimate and will be performed in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with industry standards. cWTF makes no express or implied warranties other than the foregoing warranty. Any claim for breach of cWTF's warranty hereunder must be made in writing to office@computerswtf.com within seven (7) of the service. All services shall be considered to have been accepted by you unless cWTF receives such a written notice. You acknowledge that in no event will the warranty cover any condition or loss arising out of or resulting from: (a) computers, configurations, cabling, network configurations, and the like, that are already in place at your premises through no involvement of cWTF, or which are modified in any manner by anyone other than cWTF personnel, or (b) third party hardware or software, except where damage arises out cWTF's grossly negligent modification thereof.
7. Limitation of Liability. In no event will cWTF be liable for any implied warranty, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. cWTF shall not be liable to you for indirect, incremental, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the services performed hereunder. In no event will cWTF's liability for any services performed hereunder exceed the amount of money paid by you to cWTF under the applicable Statement of Work or its related invoices. Your sole remedy under this Work Authorization, including for any breach of warranty under Section 6, is as follows: If cWTF determines in its reasonable discretion that a warranty claim is covered, cWTF will elect, in its sole and absolute discretion, to either (a) fix the problem free of charge, or (b) refund the money paid by you to cWTF under the applicable Statement of Work or its related invoices. If cWTF determines the claim is not covered under warranty, we will inform you of the estimated charges prior to commencing work.
